If you move goods by sea, whether you are shipping your product out or receiving goods that are being shipped to you, you are what I call a "Shipper" and the information shared on this site is for you.  We "shippers" are a diverse group - involved in the particulars of our unique industries whether retail, industrial, agricultural or something else - but we all have one thing in common:  we are driven to secure the most efficient and reliable ocean services to move our business' goods.

There are no shortages of analysis and news items shared in the public space about ocean shipping.  I am hoping to share here what I consider a "deeper dive" into issues that impact ocean shippers.  This may be where some of you sign off... for others, this is where you take a dive with me. 

 

I am not a lawyer although I might admit to being a maritime regulation geek.  All the views shared here are my own.  This site is born of a professional imperative to share some possibly new and hopefully useful perspectives with my peers and colleagues in this fascinating world of ocean shipping as we all work every day to keep our freight moving.
